Terms & Conditions
Please read these carefully before booking
Welcome to Jiya Travels. By booking any travel package or service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between the customer and Jiya Travels and govern all travel arrangements made through us.
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the initial advance payment and confirmation from our team.
- All bookings are subject to availability of hotels, transport, and permits.
- Jiya Travels reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking due to unavailability or operational constraints.
To ensure smooth arrangements, the following payment structure applies:

Accepted Payment Methods
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Direct Bank Transfer
Note: Credit card payments are not accepted unless explicitly agreed.
Taxes & GST
- All prices are quoted in INR (Rs.).
- Prices are exclusive of applicable GST and government taxes, unless stated otherwise.
- Any change in tax rates imposed by the government will be applicable to the final billing.
Within 20 Days of Arrival
- Cancellation or changes will not be accommodated, and 50% of the total package cost will be charged.
More Than 20 Days Before Arrival
- Cancellation or modification requests may be considered based on availability.
- No cancellation charges will apply in such cases.
No-Show
- Failure to arrive without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation, and applicable charges will apply.
Refunds
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per the above conditions.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method, after deducting any applicable charges, and may take standard banking time.
- Only services explicitly mentioned under "Inclusions" are covered.
- Any service not listed will be treated as an exclusion.
Common Exclusions
- Airfare / Train tickets
- Entry fees, guide charges, activities
- Personal expenses
- Lunch (unless specified)
- Oxygen cylinders or special equipment
Travel in regions like Kashmir and Ladakh is subject to environmental and logistical factors.
- Weather conditions, roadblocks, landslides, or government restrictions may impact travel plans.
- Jiya Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries, routes, accommodations, or schedules for safety or operational reasons.
- No refunds will be provided for unused services due to such changes.
- Any additional costs arising due to such changes must be borne by the customer.
- Standard hotel check-in: 12:00 PM | check-out: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
- Hotels are subject to availability; similar category alternatives may be provided.
- Vehicles are allocated based on group size and terrain suitability.
- Valid government-issued ID proof is mandatory for all travelers.
- Permits for restricted areas (e.g., Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake) will be arranged but require customer documentation.
- Only postpaid SIM cards function in many remote regions.
Travelers must:
- Carry valid identification at all times
- Follow local laws, customs, and safety guidelines
- Respect hotel property, vehicles, and staff
- Any damage caused by the customer will be chargeable.
- Misconduct or illegal activity may result in termination of services without refund.
- Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel, especially for high-altitude destinations like Ladakh.
- Jiya Travels shall not be responsible for any health-related issues, including altitude sickness, during the trip.
- Jiya Travels acts as an intermediary between customers and service providers such as hotels, transport operators, and guides.
- We shall not be held liable for any deficiency, delay, or failure in services provided by third parties.
Jiya Travels shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Weather conditions
- Road blockages or landslides
- Strikes or political disturbances
- Government restrictions or pandemics
No refunds or compensation shall be provided in such cases.
Jiya Travels shall not be liable for:
- Loss, injury, accident, or damage during the tour
- Delays or cancellations due to external factors
- Loss of personal belongings
All such risks are assumed by the traveler.
- All official communication will be made via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details.
- Children below 5 years stay free without extra bedding.
- Gondola tickets (if applicable) must be booked online in advance.
- Travelers are advised to prepare for high-altitude conditions.
- During the trip, photographs or videos may be taken for operational or promotional purposes.
- Jiya Travels may use such media on its website, social media, or marketing materials.
- Customer consent will be obtained before using any identifiable images, and guests may opt out by informing us in advance.
By confirming a booking with Jiya Travels, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the above Terms & Conditions.
